Frequently Asked Questions

Volunteering: Pottsgrove Future Falcons is a volunteer-based organization. We require that families donate a small amount of their time to make each season a success. There will be plenty of volunteer opportunities each season. There is a volunteer bond fee per family. Once you have volunteered you will receive your bond check back.

Tackle Football Equipment: We will provide a helmet, shoulder pads, practice jersey and chin strap for all tackle football players. There is an equipment bond fee per tackle football player. Once you return your equipment at the end of the season you will receive your bond check back. We will provide one mouthguard. You will need to purchase your own cleats.

 

Cheer Uniforms: We will provide the Cheer Uniforms for the season. There is a uniform bond fee per cheerleader. One you return your uniform at the end of the season you will receive your bond check back.

 

Football Coaches:

All football coaches must read and sign the PGFF Coaches Code of Conduct. The form will be provided when you request to be a coach. 

All coaches must complete a Background Check, Child Abuse Clearance and complete the USA Football Head's Up Training and become "Head's Up" certified before the first practice. To learn more about the Head's Up program click here.

 

Cheer Coaches:

All cheer coaches must read and sign and the PGFF Coaches Code of Conduct. The form will be provided when you request to be a coach. All coaches must complete a Background Check, Child Abuse Clearance and complete the USA Cheer Certification before the first practice.

 

Football Practices:

Practices start in August and will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings.

Once school starts practices will be 3 nights per week (coaches pick the days).

 

Flag Football Practices:

Practices start in August and will be 2 nights per week (coaches pick the day)

 

Cheer Practices:

Practices start in August and will be Tuesday and Thursday evenings. 

 

Games:

Regular season games start the first weekend of September and are every weekend through end of October. 

Playoffs will be at the end of the season for the 3rd-6th grade teams.

 

Grade-Based League- The ICFL is a grade-based league. When you register you must enroll in the grade that you will be entering in Fall 2024.
