Football24 - Fall 2024

Flag football is offered for boys and girls going into kindergarten in the fall through 1st grade.  Tackle football is offered for boys and girls in grades 2 through 6. Our season runs from the beginning of August through the end of November.  Equipment will be provided at all levels.  Before receiving equipment at the tackle level, a $300 bond check will be required.  The purpose of the check is to ensure all equipment will be returned at the end of the season in good condition and will only be cashed if all equipment is not returned.

All PGFF families will be required to pay a $150 volunteer bond in the form of a check made out to PGFF.  This volunteer bond is per family, not per participant. The check will be returned at the end of the season to the family, when the one hour volunteer requirement is fulfilled. This check will only be deposited in cases where the family fails to fulfill the one hour of volunteer time.  Coaches and Team Parents are excused from putting up a volunteer bond.

You now have the option to Purchase our Annual Fundraiser Raffle Tickets when you register your player. This is optional at registration., but selling a book of raffle tickets is a REQUIRED fundraiser for all PGFF families!

Pottsgrove Future Falcons welcomes children with special needs into our programs when reasonable accommodations can be made. Frequently Asked Questions
  • When do practices start?: Practices typically start the first or second week of August. Once registration ends and coaches are assigned please expect to hear from your coach by the middle of July.
  • What equipment is needed?: We provide shoulder pads, helmets, practice jersey, one mouthpiece and game uniforms which include jersey and pants. You provide your OWN practice pants, socks and cleats.
  • How many practices per week?: Flag has two practices per week. Tackle practices 4 days per week and once school starts that goes down to three days per week. Days will be determined by coaches.
  • Where are home games played?: Home games are currently played at the Pottsgrove Middle School.
  • Where is practice held?: Practices are held at Lower Pottsgrove Elementary.
  • When are games played?: Most games are on Saturdays with flag games being the first ones played in the morning starting at 8 or 9 depending on location. Some games are played on Sundays based on who the home team is.
  • What is the Raffle Basket Donation?: Each team provides a raffle basket for our Annual Fundraising Event. You now have the option to donate in advance. It's optional at registration, but a REQUIRED donation.
  • What is the Raffle Ticket Fundraiser?: It is REQUIRED of each family to sell a book of 10 raffle tickets. You now have the option to purchase your book in advance. This is optional at registration, but a MANDATORY fundraiser.
